No-lift NEMT Online Training

No-lift NEMT Training Covers:

No-lift NEMT® Online Training is a series of training videos and accompanying exams hosted on noliftnemt.com. Organizations which purchase a Broda® Synthesis WC19 Transport Chair through No-lift NEMT receive 3 user accounts per chair purcahsed. User account allow staff members to access the training and receive individual certification once completed. The training portal allows companies to:

  • Access No-lift NEMT Training material 24/7 via desktop or mobile device.
  • Create and manage their own users through a group management page branded with their own logo.
  • Monitor user progress through the training.
  • Switch user seats to new employees when staff turnover occurs.
  • Download and print certificates for users who have completed the online training.

1 Broda® Basics

Broda® Basics covers how to operate the Broda® Synthesis WC19 Transport Chair. The video demonstrates seat tilt and back recline, discusses how to utilize the elevated leg rest, shows how to remove the side bolsters and armrest, how to engage the wheel locks, and walks viewers through installing and using the four-point harness and safety belt.

2 Performing a Lateral Transfer

Performing a Lateral Transfer teaches students how to safely move patients from bed to the Broda® chair and vice versa. The video covers:

  • How to safely use a sheet and a medical transfer board
  • The role of the transfer assistant
  • How to position the patient for a smooth transfer
  • How to position the chair with the patient onboard
